Something caught my attention a few years ago when an influencer shared her journey as she was removing breast implants.  I had never really paid attention to breast health, although it’s kind of freaky how many women my age have had to face a very harsh reality with an all too common breast disease…

I have been learning so much about health in the last five years and mostly, about the importance of making good lifestyle choices in order to stay in good health.

None of us are infallible, but there are SO MANY things we can do/change to take care of our body and hopefully, prevent a few things…

✨ Did you know breasts store toxins for you when you aren’t able to make the best lifestyle decisions? This is how they work with your body. In doing so, they buy you time to learn + make better choices. ⠀

✨This was 100% NEWS TO ME.  Our breasts don’t appreciate being compressed like a pancake to our chest in all those fancy bras… Lounge bra it is.  No underwire that’s for sure!  It makes sense to let the lymphs do their job and circulate fluid without constriction.

✨ Something that is really good for breast health is jumping and sweating!  It helps release some of these toxins they are  storing for us. Basically anything that get the lymphs moving, like dry brushing, is a good thing.

✨Again, movement through massage.  A good breast massage with a base of coconut + castor oil is a good option. Add a few drops of doTERRA oils such as geranium, lavender, pink pepper, frankincense. Do this daily!

✨ Last, but not least, every cell of our body feels what we feel, including our breasts.  It sounds crazy but it’s very serious and a legitimate scientific fact! Yet another reason to prioritize mental and emotional wellbeing, even for busy mamas!

I know, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by all the things that we learn and should change.  One thing at a time.  Remember, knowledge is power.  It’s incredibly empowering to know we can change a few simple things like not wearing a sports bra all day and prioritizing more lymphatic flow to improve our breast health.  We are not at the mercy of genetics and fate as we one thought.
